A great centrally located barge apartment. Clean with everything you need. The host lives on the barge in another apartment and is very helpful and obliging.Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something different in the city of lights!

The property was great! So close to the train, metro and "batobus" getting around Paris was easy! construction on near by boat and dock work was a bit loud but we where out all day anyway. The landlord was very helpful and nearby if there where any issues. comfortably sleeps 4 with plenty of room to move around.

Really lovely boat, great facilities, awesome shower, great location. Some works being doing on the quay but didn't impact our stay. A really nice way to spend some time in such a beautiful city.

We enjoyed our stay in Paris on the houseboat. The biggest problems were the beds and the extreme musty smell especially in the bedroom. The bed in the bedroom was intolerable and the couches were slightly better. The owner of the boat was friendly and helpful and did give us a small foam mattress to put on the floor as an alternative bed.

Séjour original. Accès à 5 minutes de la gare de Lyon et 2 minutes de la gare et station de métro d'Austerlitz. Accueil agréable de la propriétaire.

There were 5 in our party, 2 adults and 3 children. This houseboat was spotlessly clean, spacious and in a great location. Weather was great and the air con was greatly appreciated. Several supermarkets, Restaurants. park, a MacDonald's and Metro within a couple of minutes walk. Children loved still on the deck and watching the boats passing by. Overall excellent accommodation.

It was a unique experience - so restful sitting on deck watching the river life and knowing that central Paris was so easy to fet to by bus, train or boat. It would also be useful to have an information pack e.g. buses, supermarkets, baker etc. Very enjoyable.

Very central. Excellent site on the River Seine and relatively quiet after the metro closed. Anne Marie the owner was very helpful. There was a plentiful supply of hot water to ease our weary feet. We were 3 friends so we had to use the bedroom and two sofabeds - one of which was not too comfortable but we found this a minor problem. Excellent. The houseboat was quite roomy and everything we required was supplied. We had lunch on the boat one day and it was lovely sitting on the deck with our provisions fron the market. We managed to walk to most of the sights and the boat was only 15 minutes from Notre Dame. We are very satisfied with the whole stay.

It was easy to book and company got back to us straight away to confirm booking. Our stay was excellant. There were five of us and we wanted something different. The owner of the houseboat Anne-marie was an excellant host she was ther to let us in on a very cold night and the boat was lovely and warm. She had maps and explained were the nearest shops were. SHE WAS BRILLIANT.The weather was very cold but the boat was very comfortable very warm. We would recommend this houseboat to anyone and hope to stay there again next time were in Paris.

We had a delightful visit to Paris. It is actually a barge moored in the Seine River. We got to Paris via TGV train from Germany and took a short Metro train to the Gare d'Austerlitz Station. A short walk and we were at the boat. It is roomy and clean. We especially enjoyed the authentic experience of staying here. A short walk away is the Natural History Museum and the Latin Quarter. We spent our evening walking through the quarter and dining at one of the many restuarants. Do not hesitate to stay here. Special thanks goes to the person welcoming us at the apartment, very smooth, professional and friendly service.

We loved our stay in the Seine Romance houseboat! The owner was a wonderful hostess and provided us with an immaculate, roomy, and comfortable place to stay. Having a train station literally across the street made getting around Paris a breeze. Having a washer, refrigerator, and stove available helped us considerably, as did having an available parking spot to use during our stay. Post office, bank, bakery, superette, restaurants (even a McDonald's for our kids) - all were within walking distance. It was nice to have the option of running air conditioning at night since it was very warm during our stay. Having three teenagers with us, it was really nice to have so much space. They loved the novelty of staying on a houseboat and we loved the price. Compared to the other places we considered, it was a great value. All in all, it was perfect for my family! Fantastic stay! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone I know planning a visit to Paris.
