This cosmopolitan 80 square meter, 2-bedroom, one bath apartment for short term rentals is located in the 6th arrondissement (Latin quarter), on the 7th French floor of an Art Deco building and it accommodates 4 people. This apartment is equipped with: Washer, dryer, Dishwasher Internet access (no PC), Phone, Stereo, and Cable TV.

The Art Deco building, composed of angular stone, wood, with hints of gleaming bronze, as well as a beautiful mosaic floor in the entrance hall, has a wood 1920's elevator with the latest technology in elevator mechanics. The building is also secure, with a door code for the street, an intercom or key to get to the elevator and staircase, and a concierge.

Subway: St. Placide - This accommodation is located on the rue de Rennes, between St. Germain and Montparnasse. The tenant therefore has their choice between the theaters and restaurants of either area, a taste of where Paris' intelligential had coffee on terraces and shared conversation over meals. Many shops and stores are close to the apartment, grocery stores, drug stores, chic clothing, design and decoration. The area also boasts being practically walking distance to many sites, or otherwise just a couple metro stops away. Last but not least, doctors abound in the area, and you are near several hospitals, whether the 18th century Sal Petriere and Val de Grace, or the 19th century Hotel Dieu.

The 8 sqmt entrance hall leads directly to the living/dining room, creating an open yet cozy space.

The 26 sqmt living room and dining room has 2 large windows giving on to balconies above the rue de Rennes, with a sweeping view of the rooftops of Paris, the Eiffel Tower and the golden dome of Les Invalides. The balcony in front of the dining area is large, with a barbeque, table and chairs. The living and dining rooms are eclectically and tastefully furnished with a red leather divan and chairs, coffee table, high-speed Wifi connection, as well a square 20th century table and chairs for dining, book cases, art, prints and photos, all well put together to create a nice comfortable harmony. The floors, as all the floors in the apartment, are hard-wood with rugs of all styles. In spite of this paris accommodation being on the busy rue de Rennes, it remains calm and silent, as it is on the 7th floor.

The 4 sqmt cozy kitchen, just off the dining and living area, is well equipped with oven, microwaves, 4 gas burners, Extractor Hood, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Coffee maker, Toaster and all kitchen utensils, housed in built-in cupboards and shelves.

The 14 sqmt main bedroom has a large window with a balcony, and the same view as the living and dining areas. It leads into the living room with double, curtained, French doors. As the rest of the apartment, this room is eclectically furnished with antiques and 20th century design. It also has a television with cable and a queen-size bed.

A long 7sqmt main hallway separates the front of the flat from the bathroom, toilets and 2nd bedroom. In true French tradition, this hallway is also donned with lots of closets, giving plenty of closet space.

The 12 sqmt bedroom has a large window and windowed door leading out yet to another balcony! Here you have the romantic view of the Parisian rooftops, and more calm as it is on the courtyard, perfect to spend unforgettable vacations in France. It is just near the bathroom, and is eclectically and tastefully furnished, with a double bed.

The large 7 sqmt bathroom has a large frosted window to allow light and privacy and is tiled completely in white gleaming tile that you will recognize, as is the same used by the Parisian metro to tile its halls. This room also has the advantage of a large, lion-claw, old-fashioned bathtub, a rare comfort in Paris. For those that do not like baths, there is a shower head. The white porcelain art deco sink also looks good on the dark floor tile. This room also has a washer and separate dryer.

The toilets are separate, just next to the bathroom, about a 1 sqmt.
